During the island base event on Mon 28.8.23 there was active discussion about the possible island base investment, wishes and needs for it and realities that need to be taken into consideration.

Based on the discussion, the island base hunt will continue by finding out and analysing potential island locations both from the east and the west side of Espoo and by contacting other Clubs to evaluate possibilities for collaboration. It was discussed that the potential island base shall be located in the distance suitable for the weekend trips. Alternatives are to buy an own place, to rent one or to have a place in collaboration with another club, naturally within the financial boundaries.
