EPS ILCA ACADEMY

The Academy group provides high-quality, developmental, and motivating coaching for goal-oriented young ILCA sailors. The group is intended for sailors who aim to maximize their skills and achieve success in both national and international competitions.

Who is it for?

Motivated and goal-oriented sailors who want to develop their skills and progress as athletes to the top levels of sailing. Sailors may train in ILCA 4 or ILCA 6/7; some sessions are held together, while others are separate.

Training

Training is structured around the season’s competitions and events. On-water training runs from April (after ice-off) to October (until the autumn break), with 3–4 water sessions per week. Training takes place mainly in the evenings, with boats ready on the water by 5:00 p.m. The season fee includes all Finnish ranking regattas and KSSS events.
